oh hello there
My name is Danielle. I’m a wife to the Almighty Hubs, Tim, a mother to two teens, Carolina and Jesse, momma to Ozzy, the Boston, Rocco, the cat, and Laila, the Boxer. We currently live in sunny Florida. Tim and I were military brats, but we both claim to hail from Northern Virginia. The kids, however, are born and raised right here in Florida. Fun fact: Neither one has ever seen snow! Carolina has just begun high school and Jesse is currently in middle school. Tim is a skilled woodworking craftsman, all around carpenter and car enthusiast. Then you have me. The mom, wife, and I’d say glue of the family. I still work a 9 to 5 job to help provide for our family and have just begun this adventure into the world of blogging and entrepreneurship.
Welcome to my sublime mom life!
This is a new adventure for me. As a teen, I enjoyed writing stories and along the way, I literally lost my way. Three years ago, I made a life changing decision that sparked my desire for more in life. One, happiness for myself and to encourage my kids to live happier lives. Two, eventually find someone who loves me for me and is fully supportive in whatever I decide to pursue, be it career or hobbies. Three, make something of myself, or more or less, create myself through something other than the 9 to 5 grind.
So here I am, starting this blog and hoping that I am able to impart wisdom and advice through my experiences as a mom, wife, sister and daughter. Raising teens isn’t an easy task, heck, kids in general aren’t easy. However, I hope that I can help you along your journey through my success and, well, probably, through my failures too. We learn through experience, right? I hope that you enjoy my stories, experiences, and can utilize any advice I can offer. I’ll be sharing information about parenting teens, divorce, co-parenting, mom stuff (like taking care of ourselves and just stuff about being a mom, you know, just about MOM) and, of course, products I love to use in my life. Hint: the things I love to use, probably, things I sell. Hence, the entrepreneurship.
This blog isn’t just about me, it’s about us, everyday moms.
We can learn from each other. We’ll help each other with our own stories. And most of all, we’ll be there for each other. Think of this as a support group. Unfortunately, a support group with no snacks or drinks, but hey, what you do in the privacy of your own home, well, no judgement there. So, sit back, relax, get a drink, or two, fix a plate of cookies, cake, or if you’re a health nut (no judgement there, hey, more power to ya, I’m too weak for that), protein bars, and buckle up, buttercup, it’s gonna be one heck of a ride.
Let’s enjoy our sublime mom lives!
